I lived on fifty acres in the woods of Alabama, one of the last standing tracts of hardwoods in the city of Auburn. Daily sightings of deer, red shoulder hawks, turkeys, snakes, all critters abound. After two separate sales of the property a doctor and a developer teamed up to construct a subdivision. This installation is part of my documentation of that properties development… (destruction). As I recorded the daily moves of the bulldozers and uprooting of beautiful old trees, I hope that through this documentation many people will see what I see, the lose of one of our greatest assets the Alabama Woods.
